What Choices of Aga Stove Do You Have?

Currently there are two types of Aga stove available. A traditional stove and a range of more contemporary range of stoves.

The Wenlock Family of Stoves

The timeless appeal of a cast-iron stove is hard to beat and AGA stoves are among the best money can buy. There are four options in this dtunning little model. The Little Wenlock, with its traditional moulded detail, arched side panels and striking wired handle it would make a stunning centrepiece in any home.

They say good things come in small packages and, when it comes to the Little Wenlock Classic, it's certainly true. It's the perfect blend of old and new, combining cutting-edge design with traditional beauty. This compact stove fits in almost any space - an ideal choice for smaller homes and standard fireplaces.

The Little Wenlock Classic Smoke Exempt is the wood-burning and solid fuel smoke exempt version of our best-selling Little Wenlock Classic.

The Much Wenlock Classic is a medium sized solid fuel and wood stove with a nominal heat output of 5.5kW (maximum 8.3kW) with 77% efficiency. It is suitable for burning wood, coal, anthracite and peat briquettes. It has a removable shaker grate, ash pan, fire fence and front ash tray. It’s simple and easy to use and can be left to burn overnight. This stove also has a black stay cool handle with an air inlet control.


The Ludlow Family of Stoves

Equally at home in a traditional or contemporary setting, the Ludlow offers understated style, classic design and exquisite detail.

The Ludlow stove is also available in a Smoke Exempt version for those living in a smoke sensitive area.

The Ludlow is a medium-sized solid fuel or wood-burning stove. The nominal heat output is 6.5kW from wood, increasing to a maximum of 9.9kW with 76.2% efficiency; solid fuels will achieve a nominal heat output of 6.2kW with 69.2% efficiency.

Like all AGA stoves, it benefits from the AGA Active Air Wash System - cutting-edge technology that optimises heat performance, reduces harmful emissions and keeps the stove window clean so you can enjoy the relaxing effect of a real fire. The beauty of the Ludlow stove is in its simplicity. Not only is it easy to use, it can be left to burn overnight so you're greeted in the morning by a beautifully warm room. It's incredibly easy to clean too, thanks to the Ludlow's removable shaker grate, ash pan, fire fence and ash tray. Available in matt black.

Aga Wren

The Wren

The timeless appeal of a cast-iron stove is hard to beat and AGA stoves are among the best money can buy. The Wren is no exception.

The Wren’s neat style suits urban living and is powerful enough to heat open-plan-rooms. The clean design lines and large viewing glass offer a stunning contemporary take on a traditional stove design. The Wren provides a nominal heat output of 4.8kW and can be flued into a standard fireplace opening.

The Dorrington

A truly beautiful stove, the Dorrington wood burning stove adds inspiration to any space it fills. With high efficiency at 80.4% and a 5.9kW nominal output it is ideal for medium and large living areas. The Dorrington features windows on either side as well as the ample front glass to ensure you can see the flame effect from virtually anywhere in the room. The Dorrington is a Smoke Exempt stove, so it is fully approved to burn wood in smoke exempt zones.

The Hanwood

With its strong lines and large flame picture, the Hanwood wood burning stove makes itself the contemporary heart of any room. Creating comfort and warmth, the Hanwood is a medium sized stove with a nominal output of 6kW and high efficiency of 80.2%. Ideal for the family home the Hanwood stove is ultra controllable as well as being Smoke Exempt (fully approved to burn wood in smoke exempt zones), so where ever you live the Hanwood will fit right in. Store your logs underneath in the handy log store.


The Hadley

The clean lines of the Hadley wood burning stove will appeal to those looking for an honest, unfussy design. With its impressive height and beautiful flame effect, the Hadley will bring warmth and comfort to the coldest room. A secondary air intake ensures that the glass remains clear for you to enjoy the flame picture and with an 8kW nominal heat output the Hadley will comfortably heat most rooms. With 75.7% efficiency, the Hadley is a Smoke Exempt stove, so it is fully approved to burn wood in smoke exempt zones. The primary air control is easily reached under the ash compartment.

The Lawley

Set upon a pedestal, the Lawley wood burning stove provides a stunning flame picture with simple to use controls. With a nominal output of 4kW and one straight forward control to regulate the air intake, the Lawley is ideal for the family home. With 80.2% efficiency, the Lawley uses preheated secondary air to ensure the glass is kept clean. The Lawley is a Smoke Exempt stove, so it is fully approved to burn wood in smoke exempt zones.


The Ellsmere Family

The latest editions to the AGA Stoves family are dynamic, exciting newcomers. Blending contemporary and traditional design, the new range of Ellesmere stoves offer clean lines and solid performance. Outstanding flame pictures and one simple to use control for both the primary and secondary air make them a pleasure to operate. With three different models, you can find the perfect stove for your home. The Ellesmere range are designed to burn either wood or solid fuel and are all DEFRA Smoke Exempt, so fully approved for use in smoke controlled areas.
